PEOPLE-
They have to smell good,be over 18 and could hold a conversation-
We have to make sure we meet the clean, mature and constructive requirements of this here thread.......
Lastweek I tuned by Ecutek-NO COMPLAINTS- My question here is what should be my next step???
Jason suggested switching out the exhaust for a larger pipe etc
Any ideas?

That’s a great idea your main objective should be to allow your engine to breathe properly so exhaust and intake should be your next move.
When you ready for the exhaust I would hook you up with a good guy; from downpipe to barrels. He did a lot of work for some respected ppl and cars in Trini and in the USA. |

Man wasting no time at all, well done
Of course everyone will have something different to suggest. To start off,
3"piping, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, Sti Injectors, perrin lightened crank pulley, Front mount (if you goin for big power or just like the look) or Perrin Top Mount Intercooler (one of the best for a stock turbo ).
Things like injectors and Intercooler choice are dependant on your long term objectives.
Doh forget suspension and brakes

Hey man,
The guy that sold me the Leg is into circuit racing and brings in cars as a sideline. I believe Jason got his Subbies from him.
His name is Anil Ramkissoon outta Tacarigua/Trincity.
He is hooking me up with his man on the exhaust and I will let you know once I get the details-We spoke about 5 mins ago on an update on the Forester. We going with 3 inch pipe.
Flex, As a matter of courtesy I will await his response before I call you.I appreciate the advice.
So the exhaust is the next step-I figure I would have to as much as possible then retune with everything installed.
The intercooler and injectors seem easy enough to do.
Any specific order to progress in.
Bacon- Are there model numbers for the intercooler and injectors IF you can gimme some detailsI would appreciate.
Ive found that some what naively I didnt expect that if I walk into an establishment and ask a Question that its an invite to get brush.
So Its excellent to be able to get solid info without getting that warm fuzzy feeling on my a$$

Redman,
Check out this fella, he will take care of you, he should have the fuel pump and pulley in stock. He will be able to source the correct intercooler for you and his prices reall good too with great service........Man meet me all kinda hours in the night to drop parts.
http://www.sleepoytuning.com also check us at www.trinifieds.com
You could check wrxdevil for some used STI injectors or the whole 15devils combo.
I will leave it to Sherwin to get the correct part No. for the IC for you, cause the USDM will not work on the JDM. If you want I could email you some pics of a stock JDM IC to assist you in comparing the line up.
Anil is a good fella, rotary guy, depending on when you bought it I may have seen yours there.
Most people will say install one at a time and see the difference, but idealy you should have to re-tune after each upgrade.......so as much as we will like to see every improvement.....bess thing to do is decide on the engine upgrades that you will like to do for a while, install everything and then re-tune. |

Starting to get the feeling that a car is another hole to pour money into.
Marcus,
Big difference.
Keep in mind this isnt my thing -The last real mod I was responsible for a was a 2nd hand Weber on a 929 wagon
When I bought the car I was topping out at about 200-the speedo only goes to 180.
After the tune Im definitely reaching the 180 faster and actually the car is still kicking down into 4th if I mash AT 180-building past pretty strongly.
Ive only run the car once -Saturday nite up the highway (after the first communion dinner)
Ive not run the car flat out but I think its MUCH faster.
Not scientific but there is a HUGE difference and Im happy with the response from the individual AND the car.The claim of 30 more HP was made but I eh Dyno yet so I cant speak to that.
Burning a sheit load more gas cuz I zipping around Sando like a horsefly on crack. but thats cool life is short.
