Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked I didnt understand anything in your first post? Do you want to stop your voltage from dropping? even if you put a bigger battery your voltage will still read 12.5 when the bass hits...you need a bigger alternator to keep your voltage up..

Jeez.... use some fullstops and commas fella!

What are the models of the Quantum amp and Powerbass amp you are using?
When checking your total RMS you do not need to check your speakers Rolling Eyes
That calculator is a estimator using your total draw.

Also as infinite_RPM said, you cannot get that V to stop dropping to 12.5V without having an alternator that will supply enough current for all your devices at 13.8V. You using stock alternator right?

please state the car you have so we can see what alternator you have

please state the total fuse rating of both amps

if i'm guessing right you don't have anthing more than 200amps of current there

go with the powermaster d1200,optima,or the kenetik 1800

the best choice there imo is either the powermaster d1200 or the optima

ask for reveiws on both batts, great no problems ect

If your voltage stands up at 12.5v when your car is idling and you are playing a constant bass tone and u stand up at 12.5v, thats pretty good. I dont think u need another battery. If u was to put another one you may stand up now at 12.8v.

i'm 5,000% sure you don't need a battery upgrade as much as you need a Big 3 upgrade

I've used up to 2,800RMS in my car with stock battery and alternator with minor dips in lights.

And btw...

FS: One pair fullstops, a bag of spaces and a box of commas.

2800rms with a stock battery, daz some BOSS rms ah wh, i doubt that dred. Stock Batteries is wah 30-40ah max. that amp drawin at least 300 amps by itself.

But yuh was right in suggesting the big 3, run that and your voltage should rest at about .1-.2 volts higher than stock wires. Yuh bass is sometimes get a little deeper also.

^^^ 2800rms in amp rating does not mean he was using 2800rms in playing.
2800rms cannot run off a stock electrical system in any car without problems.

I agree, because of the dynamic nature of music he was probably really only seeing roughly half of that.
