Java games on mobile phone

I am running java games on my mobile and can't get them to stretch to full screen. Is there any way to remedy this? They look like a postage stamp in the middle of my screen and the rest of the screen is blank.

if ur fone is 320 x 240 and u install a game with resolution 220 x 176 u gonna get that, same applies for 160 x 130

Thing is, on my girl's TYTN2 (Windows Mobile 6.0), they run full screen, but on my symbian Nokia 5700, they do not occupy the full screen. Is this common for symbian?

those phones have the same screen resolution, but the HTC's screen is slightly bigger than the Nokia5700, the difference in screen size is probably causing that or the HTC has a fullscreen feature that stretches the game to it's required size where as the nokia may not have it, find out what is the resolution of the actual game.
