are there any dvd decks with processing close to that of the 880prs ?
thinking about gettin a dvd player but i still dont want to run any Xover.
so lets say i get a normal dvd deck with minimal processing and i pair that with a dqxs would that give the same or better quality than if i run a dvd deck with 10band eq and a 6xs or would it still be lower?

The Alpine IVA-D310 with its stand alone processing is ok,i think its like 10 bands EQ not independent L/R though. TA, phasing and a few other stuff,
but still pound for pound wont offer what the 880 has. I don't think there is a Deck that is currently on the market that will offer those features stand alone. |

the only dvd i know with simialr built in processing is the older 7500dvd burr brown processin and tru 5.1 however you are looking at over 12k for the unit
for the price you can use an apline as lance suggested and add the external processor |

it has separate front and rear equalization 13 bands each

havent a clue on the cost as the customer brought it in from the states direct
