COLFIRE FTW!

The only Fully Comprehensive Insurance provider that gives 'waiver of excess' as an option.

That especially comes in really handy when you buy a brand new car/suv/pick-up.

Imagine having to pay the excess on a $250k SUV......b4 yuh get fix. Shocked

Maritime seems ok, altho I personally have never claimed for anythng so I can't be sure.

Best thing is to get cheap 3rd party insurance, then pay for top of the line anti-theft devices (GPS, MulTLock,Viper) , install a fire extinguisher, then start praying.

Man, when it comes down, all insurances companies are the same. Just like them banks, they all claim that their rates & service are better than the competition. But when it comes down to honour a claim, its a real run around. They quick to write you to pay up. And like banks I trust none of them. If the law did not say so, I would have no insurance, not one. These big business ripping off the small man. We are just statical numbers to them. I AM NOT A NUMBER Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

How many of you know what you are covered for under your respective insurance company's FULL COMPREHENSIVE coverage?

* Fire
* Theft
* Flood
* Hurricane
* Strike
* Waiver of Excess
* "New for Old" Replacement Parts
* Loss of use
* Windshield
* etc.

Many people to my surprise simply pay their annual premium and aren't fully aware of what their coverage entails, until the occurrence of an actual incident.
