ok i didint kno that...but from what i've heard and read it's a simple engine to turbo...i figured it was a conversion that suzuki did since alot of swift enthusiast have turbo or modified turbo cars....i hadda do some diggin around 4 paths...and if i can gt a cheap G13BB thrown my way 2 experiment that wud b gr8...lol...

hol on pardner. u sure this is the GTi engine?
there are fuel injected versions of the G13b labeled G13BB but they cyar take boost like like the GTi's G13BB...they came in the version of the carry known as "super carry", and there are front wheel drive applications as well (Baleno). trust me, it ain't the same as the GTi's G13BB.

a g13BB (4cylinder, 16 valve efi) from a GTi will take up to 10 psi boost on stock internals, without need for new gasket or need to retard the timing.

assuming what you have is the other g13bb, u looking at max approx 5psi without some serious work on internals.

now i ain't shooting down your idea eh, just make sure you know exactly what engine you have in there first!.

It might just work!

hell, you could just but the turbo engine and see if you could slap it in
dunno if you;'d get more power than the 1.3 though

yeah, early 80's starlets like the kpseries, eg kp61, kp62 (1980-1982 or thereabouts), but that was loooong before the days of the 4efte or the even the 2t-telu, which were fwd engines

there wasn't a starlet gt back then either... ( i think)
