IASCA in conjunction with the Fast & Furious motor show is being held at uShaka Marine World on the East Coast in Durban on the 4th and 5th July. With all the industry leaders involved and running off the huge success of the previous shows, this year’s event is destined to be BIGGER, BADDER, FASTER & LOUDER than before.

The highlights of the 2009 show will be the following

- Exhibition of the country’s top modified cars and bikes.

- Super car exhibition including Ferrari’s, R8’s, Porsche’s, Lamborghini’s

- Exhibition of the car performance and audio industries latest gizmos and gadgets by over 20 of the industries leaders.

- Show and Shine competition.

- IASCA SQ and SPL semi finals showcasing the loudest and best sounding vehicles in the country.

- Car drifting display.

- Bikini car wash and bikini competition.
-Burnout Competition

Howzit guys , The SA IASCA semi finals is only a few days away , and everyone from around the country is getting their cars ready.

Due to the high volume of cars , Rookie , Stock , Bass boxing must complete at least 2 runs on Saturday 4th July , the top 5 in each class will go through to Sunday 5th July .
Sunday 5th July will see the pre qualifiers from Rookie , Stock , Bass boxing together with the Pro stock , Advanced and Ultimate cars compete.

( The reason for the pre qualifying for rookie and stock guys is that last years show started on a Saturday , and finished at around 2am-3am Monday morning due to high volumes of cars , however , there was breaks in between)

Johannesburg ( JHB) guys will be travelling 600km and the Cape Town guys 1600km to Durban.
I will be leaving this coming Friday nite from JHB to Durban and will come back to JHB on Monday ,so pictures will be up by next week .

Sully , will get your SQ pics
Kurpal , will get your rookie install pics also.
SR (Chief) will take pics of the whole show for you ,

In general , I will take pictures of the whole IASCA show , to share with you great Trinidadians about our IASCA shows in South Africa , and it’s nice to have a look at your shows as well.
It’s great that 2 IASCA countries can share ideas like this and see what differences and similarities we have.
The internet is a great thing!

Lol ok , our local expression for wow is "tjo" ( pronounced as tyaw)

Pictures will be up this weekend , , just need some time to post it.
Must i create a new post or post the pics in this post?

Wayne was very strict and there were quite a few arguments regarding some cars , but Wayne had the final say.
Just have to mention the highlight of the show was when Team Targa went head to head with Team Starsound in the middleweight bassboxing.
Team Targa eventually smoked the woofers on their 3rd run , but wow , what a battle between these 2 giants in the South African SPL scene.

That SS 9 KW Amplifier wasnt used in the Tazz as it doesnt fit , the back seats cannot close properly. I am not sure what amps was used but i think the SS D10000 or the SS 5000z.
My friend Tiger Naidoo (stock2) also tried that amp in his golf1 but it did not fit.

BTW , what other amplifiers does that circuit board look familier(or exact same) too? Wink

YEs Sevin , all South African ,
Im assuming you think i am Trinidadian?
I am South African , Was searching the internet and looking for other IASCA affiliate countries to share pics and info and came across Trinituner by chance , I think , infact i know our two countries can relate to each other more than any other IASCA country.
Regarding your second point i dont know hey , unless there are competitors from your country that are shipping there vehicles and themselve out to SA for the next show , its gona be a very long time before we can all come together and have ONE BIG BLAST ,just imagine how lekker it will be.
