Why do you want to use 8000K? That's less light out put than OE 4300K and the color will ensure you get charged for illegal lighting. You shouldn't go higher than 5000K

Well, I have done some research on HIDs and I've decided to stick it out with my regular bulbs...They work fine for me and I have no poblems...saves me the money anyway...

For all of you who wants to know why I have decided to stick with my original bulbs is because I have learned that the HIDs only last for 3000 hrs. which is equivalent to 250 days if only used 12 hrs. a day. So, I'd rather keep my original bulbs and save the time of always having to buy new HIDs when the time comes...

I'm not sure, but if so, how much is the bulbs for hids in Trinidad.????
I'm sure they sell for alot of money considering the prices i see they sell things for nowadays... It probably cheaper to buy regular bulbs and work just good enough, maybe not as nice and bright but ah well......alot less money i'm sure or more affordable hi hi....

but why does one need HID's?

Dark tint I could understand.. if yuh a bandit or doh like bright light or real heat..by all means,

excessivly loud music...yuh could be half deaf and thats the only way yuh could hear Kumar, dat fine

but HID's...if yuh half blind you shouldnt be driving.

i dont know why ppl retrofit them to anything else other than projector type headlamps.
they blind everyone else on the road.

proper HIDs do not affect oncoming drivers.
either projector type with the line, or the actual HID with the builtin blind is good.

About $1800 - $2000TTD for Hid's here in Trinidad. You will have to look around to get the better and lower prices.

That's alot of money just for Hid's, ah well i was curious as to if they were legal or not in TnT. Thank you for the info. $1800 - $2000 for 250 days of light from Hid's its not worth buying... that's just my opinion anyways....

Didn't read tru all post but HIDs are not illegal some vehicles come from showroom with them but if you how ever go above 4300 they are but you can still slide with a 6k kit.

but there are ways to work around it according to bulb type if u have say Projectors u can put a kit on high and fogs and leave low beam factory. If u need ne more info feel free to ask.

Its a $200 ticket btw

That's a good price $1200, I will settle for Piaa's bulbs instead, Probably super white. Alot cheaper and a little brighter than stock...and not have to deal with the issue of getting pull over by the law and paying $200.00 fine...

Thank you for all the info.
