sounds cool but I have an issue with certain douglas eh
Cars like Banzai's Rover harch and the Pug from 6th speed are cool and I respect guys like them, who do a professional swap, and I very cool with that, but people who chuck in a B15 engine in a 306 or Rover because it easier than maintaining or repairing the original engine, yeah I really don't wanna be rollin with that crowd....sorry......those are not enthusiasts

I fully understand what you're saying MG good point! My car is a cross breed and i have my own reasons for putting in a Jap heart and dont believe mine was "chucked in" although if i had known better at the time i would have done something different(didnt we all) and i spent/spend alot on my car and not thinking of selling anytime soon so i dont think i fall into the "not Euro enthusiasts" crowd, cuz i could have sold it and bought some new whatever but i just love my car, cuz its different and i like unusual stuff.

no probs bro. we could organise for when u get back.

I too have a japanese heart in my euro, it wasn't "chucked" in though.
i also have my reasons for doing it and believe me it's not about maintenance.
Since this topic was raised, are people like me and others who cross breed, are we welcomed to the meet?

I have noticed there are quite in numbers of euros running japs engine.. I do understand and will appreciate whatever is your reason(s) for doing this. MG Man, i would believe the line is drawn in the engines. I cannot see it being possible putting other non euro specific in these cars apart from engines.

Set your date, i try my best to be there.

Why are you trying to segregate? this is supposed to be about unity.
Apparently you are the only one with a problem, suck it up and accept it.

If it was said that the line should be drawn so that older cars would not be welcomed. you would be offended, not so?

There are some things people just have to accept to acomodate all involved.

On the surface it looks neat. But I am afraid, it looks like an SR20 swap is becoming an excuse for ignorance in TnT.
