None of my gears working, not even reverse Confused . This happened just like that. When I move the shifter to drive and i try to accelerate, the engine jus revs. same thing with reverse gear.

Does this mean the transmission gone? or wht else could it be?
How much so I looking at to get this fixed? or cud it even be repaired?
It's an es5 model civic, d16w7 engine.
Thanks.

If you are not even getting a jerk when you change gears, your torque convertor needs replacement.

Jack up the car and check if you damage anything on the underneath and check oil and just go by a qualified mechanic

Bro a non cvt transmission do not go just like that. It will start to hard shift and slip first. A torque convertor strips just like that. Remove one of the ATF hose from the rradiator and start engine. If no oil is pumping out your convertor is strip.
