I have a customer thats wants to do a conversion from manual to auto on a subaru 1.6 TS.
Is this possible? who can do this? What would i need to pull this off? are the ECU`s the same or do i need to get one with the respective harness.

I'm sure there are a lot of TS owners with A/T who want to go M/T for many reasons....
I recommend you find one who is willing to do a swap and you good to go... Wink

hmm...that conversion kinda tricky since the computer regulates gear changes. changing the transmission may be possible but expensive. i'm talking a whole new transmission. the brake pedal assembly will also have to be changed along with configuration of the computer. actually it has been said by tuners that it is easier to convert m/t to a/t than a/t to m/t
