i have an ES model civic (2001). when i put the car in drive or reverse the steering feels very tight, while driving it is not as tight making it drivable, but when compared, other cars steering are easier(feels lighter) to controll. Sometimes when i drive off the steeering feels light(like the other cars) then it goes back to that slightly tighter feel.

Or and another thing at night when park up with lights on and i turn the steering the lights start to dim

What could be wrong does the power steering motor need to change?
