recently did a head swap in the 3zzfe engine in a corolla and when engine is idle runiin around 1400 rpm ,,,using alot of gas ,can anyone help /.

this is the f/u nze. is it e-throttle. if so may have to jus reset it with a scan tool. not sure if these engines came with e-throttle. 1nze engine was cable in the local one.

have you tried disconnecting yuh battery and see if it resets ??? Twisted Evil

3ZZFE is cable type. Service the trottle body and leave it to idle for 10 minutes.
If after 10 minutes the idle does not come down, the IAC valve needs replacing.

you cud take out the iac also an clean it individually. jus be careful with teh seal
