Hey guys i dunno if you can help me out.
I have a fuel injected GA16 in a B13 it originally came that way.
I find these days it burning a lil too much gas.
I serviced the injectors, the throttle body was also cleaned.
keep in mind i have modified intake system with a cone filter.
Any suggestions??? |

| i think mine is doin the same ..but on the other hand people sayin that the mileage good i burn 40$ a day from rushworth st sando to Omeara arima. average speed 120-140kmph a/c and 17" rims /tyres. When i install cold air i would tell diff. car is always tuned.......installed a a/f ratio gauge doh and sometimes i can see it run a lil rich..considering using a safc to tune it out a bit tho .lookin for a solution too..any progress made will be posted. Tryed an almera qg16cvtc to work an back an the gass consumption wasnt much less if not about the same doh. |

Racegod i getting like 200-250km per fill up thas like about $80-$90 dollars.
I feel it burning rich because i couple of times i revved the engine and black smoke came out and i heard it backfire one but now it working ok i eh seeing no black smoke so i eh know. But sunday i goin and check one of mih padnas he is an expert on the GA16 and i will let you all know what was the outcome.
Could NP be shortchanging us on the gas because before i used to get 300-350 per fill up? |

O2 Sensor Change it...go brand new if you can get one. I have the GA15 Carb Model and had crazy gas problems Can't get the sensor soooo i tried a lil thinkg i read online...feel free to try if you like
Get the QD Contact cleaner(This is a non residue cleaner MAKE SURE U GET THIS ONE) Take down your O2 Sensor, and get some sand paper or a steel brush....you will see your sensor reall black an kinda ashy, spray it down an use the brush to clean it to the best of your ability let it dry then put it back up. O2 Sensor is on exhaust manifold. |

wow, i'm watching the mileage you guys are getting, and its bad compared to mine.
I do thie highway every day, with A/C, but even in Sando and environs, odd trips to p/town, poole, i get 400+km on a GA15DE (EFI), on premium about $120-$125 fullups. |
