ok so i installed some r32 brakes on my c35 laurel and the rim would not fit so my first step was to add spacers , after adding spacers obviously i had to installl longer studs . all this was accomplished but the shitty thing about it is that. from 40-120 steering is shimming uncontrollably and when i apply brakes it shimmers terribly
does anyone have any advice
thks

for the shim during acceleration: are the wheels properly centered? are the lugs properly tightened? are the tyre air pressures equal?

for the shim during braking: are the discs smooth? do they need skimming? are the pads new? did you "bed in" the pads properly?

great advice fellaz but unfortunately i jus removed the r32 brakes and all my problems was solved
it seems as though my 19" rims doesnt carry the correct offset to accomadate the rim therefore the spacer had to be used . but after speaking to some peeps i realized your rim would never sit flat until to remove the spacer
so it didnt make sense

the rim can stay flat even with spacers on. were the spacers sitting flush on the hub before you placed the wheel on? did you tighten the lug nuts in the correct way? did the lug nuts go up onto the studs more that 5 threads? was the spacer still sitting flush on the hub after all lug nuts were tightened?

but you should really look into getting a rim with more offset to accomodate the caliper (if you still interested in the R32 brakes)
