the reality is there are many scams in this country,
some under very shady but legal pretences,
eg a large insurance company which is privately owned and nobody sees the books
but they run pension funds, many companies and all kind of thing with people money but they get away because their companies are doing well

It is common knowledge HCU was under water for more than a few years, Central Bank should take the blame for not stepping in earlier but they probably on the take anyways.

The Central Bank is a bunch of bobos who several steps behind the game.
They just adjusted the regulations to allow pension funds to increase their stockholdings in the local stock market, which is why the market has jumped bigtime in the last month.
But guess what, they didn't let the public know about it, so only people in the industry got the opportunity to jump in before the tide.
