Additional Info:
I purchased the vehicle in October 04, Second owner. The vehicle originally came with an SR20DE and was Hyper CVT.
In August 05 i performed a heart transplant and replaced the stock motor with an SR20DET
Accident history:
I went tail happy, spun out around the Queens Park Savannah and hit the pavement sometime in December 06. Broke a rim, bent a cradle, damaged an axle and a steering end. The only body damage was the front bumper. The car was still able to drive. I replaced all damaged components and never had a problem after.
Other Accident history:
3 cats, 1 dog, 1 bird, 1 bat and a snake. the manicou got away.....
I got fed up of Fiberglass bumpers and went back to original.
Engine problems made me replace the SR20Det with another SR20DE about 3 months ago, put in a new ACT Clutch Kit changed all fluids and put in new shocks, also serviced the radiator.
I have all the bills... The engine came out of a Front cut which was doing aprox 25k km
The only problem i can think of is the speed sensor, since the new engine went in, the gauge doesn't read accurately. Also some idiot forgot to wire in the idle motor. Should be an easy fix, just 1 wire from the idle
motor to the ECU. The A/C works extremely good, the compressor however makes a little noise.
I've given all the info i could think of here, Buyer will also get a set of Continental Contact Sports 2 (225-45-17) with about 90% thread left on them. Once again i'm looking for $60000 OBO AND
Please no Negative comments......
PM me your offers
If you really need more info than what is listed here call me @ 722-7201 Anytime between 2:00PM and 2:00AM. |

Correct me if I am wrong here, but the tachometer reads up to 9000 RPM, and only the P11's that came with the VVL engine i.e. SR20VE, reads to a maximum of 9000 RPM.

You stated that the car originally came with the SR20DE. The P11's that came with the SR20DE and Hyper CVT normally has a tachometer that reads up to a maximum or 8000 RPM |

You are correct. The Primeras that came with VVL engines reads to a maximun of 9000 RPM with a rev cut around 8000RPM, The ones that came with the regular SR20 Read up to 8000 with a rev cut around 7500.
I stated the car originally came with an SR20DE and was Hyper CVT, I also stated that I changed my engine, more than once. These instrument panels were designed for CVT M6 and i find them alot more attractive than the stock Panel. If you could see behind the "nismo" on the panel you would see P,R,N,D,L followed by 6,5,4,3,2,1.
It would make no difference to me because i very rarely, if ever cross 7000RPM, This is not a Drag/Race car, this is a daily driver and has been for the past 5 years, I wanted a bit more performance hence the reason i switched to a red top. As stated above that engine was replaced with a Stock SR20DE 3 months ago.
Does this put your mind at ease? |

sablo77, if i had the time i would get everything done, wouldn't cost much but will take up a bit of time, thats why i posted the vehicle with all the "additional" info, i could easily get everything like normal and then advertise but this is still my daily driven vehicle, the current problems in no way affect the safety, handling or performance of the vehicle, the speedometer still works, just fluctuates now and then, the idle motor works, its just not connected, this affects the rpm when the A/C is turned on, i adjusted the engine idle up a little to compensate for this, so there is no problem there right now. Instead of the engine idling at 600-800 rpm, i have it idling @ 1000-1100 rpm, if i didn't state the idle motor is not connected you might not know the difference. Also as i said the A/C works it just makes some noise..let me rephrase, the A/C works like a Freezer, its so cold that all the glasses on the outside of the vehicle Frost...in midday sun. I was told the clutch bearing needs to be replaced. I could live with a noise, especially since you don't hear it when the windows are up. Lastly, i stated i was in an accident a couple years ago, some points to note on this are:
1) The vehicle still drove after i put on my spare tire.
2) The only body damage was the front bumper.
3) Within 1 week the car was back up and running like normal.
4) I still kept the vehicle as my daily driver (didn't rush to get rid of it like some tuners)
5) (And the most important if you ask me) Chassis never had to be pulled.
You ever heard the saying "Do unto others as you have them do unto you"
Here is a little story.......yeah i that bored right now. |
