| afternex2, it's not necessary. The catback is usually made of larger diameter pipe(s) than the oem. Factory catbacks are mandrel bent and provide faster outflow of exhaust gases. Most times you won't get 100% out of the headers if the pipe diameter(s) after the downpipe is reduced or restrictive (like most oem), however, you would still notice some improvement. |
