Waddup guys?....
Today I have a few questions...
Well since these clowns raise the price of premium I thinking about switching to super. I just wondering if there's anything I need to do with my civic before I make the switch. And what do do when I begin to use super.
Also, should I flush my transmission oil? I heard that can damage the transmission more if it is already heading down the road of destruction. Or should I just empty and refill?
As always thanks guys for all the help |

When switching, run down the gauge to E then fill up with super; run down to about half, fill up with super again ( ideally,if you could drain the gas tank, that'd be cool, but a waste of gas )
Then you need to do an ECU reset for the ecu to build a map based on the new RON reading..
{to reset ecu: remove backup fuse from underhood fuse box (7.5A) for 10 secs and replace..then leave the car to idle for ~10 mins without revving} |

I hearing all kinds of things...
I hearing that it don't make sense to switch to super cause it burns quicker..so in the long run you will spend more money anyways.
I hearing that super will produce more impurities in the system..and i read in the newspapers that you will need to change your catalytic converter to switch to super.
I starting to feel a bit apprehensive about using super in my civic...
I think I will put up with the price increase and see how it goes..at least until i can get some more definitive info.... |
