yesterday i remote start my nissan b14 an wen i went to open de door i noticed de lights flickering. also de hood light was flickering. i checked de battery terminals it was good. an wen i put on headlights de dash board lights an de engine die off an come back up. all dis time the dashbord lights an hood lights are still flickering. i den switched off the engine an started back, the problem did not occur again. its been 24hrs since dat happened. what could hav caused dat?

well to my knowin when u remote start a car the lights usually does that, so that u will kno it is in runnin(like if u away from d vehicle and can't hear it start). Speak to your alarm tech who installed it. But the lights goin on for a second and off is normal

yuh don't understand. everyone knows wen u remote start a car de lights does go on an off. i said it was flickering. also de hood light and dashboard lights.

What device you used to remote start ???.......made up one or alarm unit intergrated one ??

when he remote start the unit is shorting causing the current to losss causing the lights to dimm and the engine will go weak... right = NEIL? I know u is ah man could handle the current... Twisted Evil

^^ lol ....yeah dun know .....but ivar what unit you using and try and restart yh car like you did when the problem occured and see if it will happen .......get it checked out because it may lead up to damages in the future !!

is not a make up alarm. i can't remember de model either, but its a four button viper. installed about one year ago by custom sounds.

can you tell exactly what model it is though??
most likely it a short somewhere but is to find it .......check if you can do it again and if it happens get your car wiring checked by an electrician and get someone to rewire the alarm unit !!
