After much deliberation, it was decided that we'll focus on preparing our personal vehicles before confirming an event. We're gonna try sumthin new and hopefully it'll work out and make things really exciting; as well as a pretty decent course layout.
The 1st event should be around late May/early June. Sorry for the delay, but it wouldn't have made sense having only 1 car ready for an event, and then to hear all the unncessary talk. Sorry for the delay, but it'll be worth it.

well what we're concentrating on each member's car is the LSD (Main thing) and the footwork (suspension).
Since your car is an s13, I'm sure you can get a skyline diff or some lsd diff to fit your car. Not viscous tho, that's a waste. Also, having the proper suspension so the car stays flatter when pushed instead of rolling like a boat (like my hachi does )
Power can come later...drifting without power builds your abilities....drifting not powersliding
Gearbox also very important, getting direct power and a clutch is a real benefit |

actually, if u check the vin plate on my car it says ae86. Apparently the GTS models have ae88 vins and the sr5's ae86.
And in trini, the only 5 or 6 hachis they imported were sohc, non-lsd, base model sr5's.
my roku has an upgraded heart, proper footwear and soon to get some plastic surgery for a more spirited look |

the viscous type is fluid activated, and basically the fluid in the plates has to get hot from friction to stop the axles from going at different speeds. So there has to be slippage first and that not what u want in a diff when drifting.
the torsen uses a spring or some other object to force the web gears in the planetary to lock. It can be used but alot of times, if one wheel loses traction, it won't transfer any power at all.
The clutch type is the best cuz u can set how strong or weak u want the lockup as the clutches the rub together to transfer power, can be changed or adjusted.
The best is the clutch type IMO |
