NISOCTT (Nissan Owners Club of Trinidad and Tobago) will be having another Practice Drift Session on Sunday 28th December, 2008. At the Divali Nagar Site Chaguanas.
An area large and safe enough to carry out this practice has been marked off by both NISOCTT and Nagar officials.
Everyone is invited to take part in the event, both as spectators and participants. Come out and end the year sideways Very Happy

We are being allowed to use this compound on one condition :
ABSOLUTETLY NO ALCOHOL OR MEAT ALLOWED ON SITE.

Drinks and Food will be on Sale.

Admission $20.00 Per Person.

Registration $50.00 Per Vehicle.

Gates Open At 12:30pm.

Event Starts PROMTLY at 1:00pm.

can you elaborate on the following:
What are the scrutineering guidelines
what will be covered at the drivers briefing
Is there a cutoff time for registrations
Are helmets required
Is there a layout of the course available, detailing the placement of cones, and the size of the practice area
Will there be medical assistance on site

Hey people remember this is a practice event and not a tournament.
It's all about having Fun and gaining some knowledge on the drifting motorsport.

There is no cutt off time for registration.
Before a car goes unto the track it must be scrutineered.

Our scrutineering team will be looking for the following:

*Batteries must be tightly clamped
*Tyres must be in safe condition, approx 80% threads or higher as not to blow out while on the course.
*Seat belts must be functional
*Removal of the drivers car mat
*No oil leaks
*Use of Helmets are mandatory

Safety measures have been put into place, there will be an ambulance on site, extinguishers onsite,washrooms,tents, wrecker,food,drinks, and lightning for incase the practice goes goes into the night.
