didn't quite understand your question WRT the suzuki guys.....can you rephrase? I honestly cant see how not having abs will help at dex.......my car has abs and well almost all the other cars trying to beat me in ESP don't have ABS and i think that it their downfall....

I disagree
If you can threshold brake properly you can brake as effectively as as with an ABS equipped car
The purpose of ABS is to prevent lockup under heavy braking, so that you don't skid / able to steer.........same can be accomplished with threshold braking
I can only speak for my car, in which case the issue is brakes that are inherently inefficient as compared to more modern cars......10' solid rotors and small brake pads with lining developed thirty years ago....and drums in the back with under-rated wheel cylinders.

PS I wasn't trying to beat anybody in ESP.....I was just fcuking around with the car.....didn't check tyre pressures, never bothered to fix the 4k rpm sputter....spent the day assuming I was running dead last Wink

Then if a driver in dex can threshold brake with a larger rotor,he's not at a disadvantage 2 another who has abs???

My civic had no ABS and that was fine, the evo's have ABS adn that's fine too.

Really depends on your vehicle and driving style.

I USE the ABS on the EVO though. Especially in the finish box.
