^we'll get results in a timing fellas, doh worry
roshan01, camber kit will help you, but i think you should focus on more fundamental stuff first...
example, your car has a lot of power to the front wheels, which by nature tend to under steer, with that extra power, possible torque steer (You have an LSD?) and the characteristic understeer, the car is going to feel crappy through the corners.
Start with some good springs and shocks, a thicker rear sway bar introduces some oversteer but that will help neutralize the handling in your car
A strut tower brace helps keep the front stable when you go into boost and that power starts to hit the ground.
Polyurethane bushings help alot, i bought a kit for my car and i\the improvements i felt were definitely worth every cent
I saw your stopping power was pretty well done, slotted rotors etc, so thats good!
Dont forget the only part of a vehicle that actually makes contact with the road is your tyres, so get a good set, used tyres aren't that bad, and cheaper to abuse at solodex, just check for the lowest treadwear available so you maximize grip.
And experiment on the course, find the smoothest line, slow entry and fast exit speeds are a rule of thumb i learnt from the more experienced guys, braking in a straight line before the corners helps to maintain traction as much as possible, avoid braking during negotiating a corner as it will cause you to lose momentum and possibly traction as well, also, you should never find yourself downshifting during a corner, you should already be in a lower gear before you enter the corner (if necessary)....just some stuff i picked up from the more experienced drivers at dex...and works fine for me, i'm learning alot as well, but starting off with some good advice never hurt anyone |

What!? Nah nah! I'll stick around and learn the ropes first
roshan01, Why 17s? If 16's or even 15's can clear your brakes use the 15's, 15" victors are much cheaper and easier to find.
I found in the AE111 corolla i used for the first 3 events (stock as a duck ) that using 205/50/15 in front and 195/50/15 in the back with higher tyre pressures in front (to help sidewall wear) made the car feel alot more neutral, i still got some body roll, but thast just because the stock suspension is too soft...remember even if you have springs with a stiffer character on stock shocks u may need more dampening force to work best with teh springs... try some sway bars (bamboo always has some good stuff lying around man) to help with body roll and keeping the car mostly "level" under cornering... |

^the thickness of the bar will affect the car considerably eh, too thick a bar will intropduce more oversteer than you're accustomed to in the car, so install it and get a feel for it, you're lucky, next dex is a BYCC so you can practice your techniques all day!
How big are your brakes? i would think 16s should fit with no issue, and tyres for 16" wheels aren't that ahrd to come by, atleast for what you would use, i'd think nothing wider than 225 would fit with no issue on your car...
check [b[7381[/b] and Dragon Imports in the classifieds, they have alot of used whees for sale, some good wheels too! Volks, FET sports etc etc...in all sizes and good prices so check them out, trust me, a spare set of wheels and tyres will help alot in dex |

Moti, the way to NOT DNF, is to walk the course as much as you can, I walked three times. Take a walk with an experienced person and understand the cone conventions.
TAKE YOUR TIME first run. The key to doing well, is to understand the course. |

CBH i walked the course and i understood the course
* the one salty posted the tuesday before though *
on actual day the course had a slight change with the gate before the entrance to the second lap.
so this is me in the car taking a look at the course on paper before a run
then when i done run it was a dnf.
happen to me all four times |

| That is why you need to talk to an experienced person. If you DNF'd once, you needed to clear it up right after. Don't take the paper as gospel, the course may be differ slightly. |
