^Saw those two, that paint and crims on the first one spoil it. The second, I know of a PCK selling with less mileage selling for less than that.

With regards to your suspension..your upgrade was just the rear brace? Is 4 bolt available for the CY? Sounds interesting...

not a single problem...in fact, if the GT was available in 2007, i wont have been selling the CY 1.5

for me, i prefer to change out vehicles every 2-3 years cuz i dont get enuff time to rack up any mileage (given the distance between home/office). i get the joy/benefit of usage over time whilst marginally contributing wear/tear.

can't speak for others tho.

Hey guys,

With regards to lowering the Cy's suspension....I came upon the Tein drop springs for the CY4A. In a previous post made by JUS4SHO,, he noted that the springs on both the CY4A and CY2A are basically the same. JUst a thought, seeing that the CY4A has a 2litre engine and the CY2A has the 1.5, wouldn't the drop be less in the 1.5 as a result of the weight difference?

I'm really interested in purchasing these springs....

Can anyone shed some "light" on the topic?

i think 45 series is OEM tyre spec on the CY GT

i dont see any issues with reasonably weighted 18s given the engine size...

neh... try and it tell us how it works out.

Buy the TEIN S.Tech's Smile

http://www.roadracemotorspo...th=1_6_11&products_id=394

To have an idea how they will have to be installed have a look at these videos.

http://www.roadracemotorspo...ath=1_6_11&products_id=75

They are installing G.R.I.P springs in the video but it would be the same way to install the Tein's

Hey Ja,

Don't mind trying it......I just wanna make sure I get the stated drop....especially on the front since it always has the wider gap. Just technically in my opinion the drop wouldn't be the same since the springs were designed for a 2000cc engine(weight i.e.)

possibly... but search around... I saw on a couple forums where people with the 1.5's did it and got a good drop.

I'll see if I can find the links and post it here.

no probs. Could you please document the install like JUS4SHO.

Or possibly invite us to witness the install. That would be greatly appreciated. Laughing

I noticed that alot of guys and gals on that site have our models 1.5 EX etc... they also have lots of mods. I believe that's a Singapore community Smile
