when you change the plugs on the 4G18..do you have to re-gap the clearance in the plug or does it come pre-set meaning if the NGK factory clearance is the spec for a 4G18...

Better performance. The previous owner of the vehicle said it increases speed a little bit. And i paid 200tt for them from a connection the previous owner has.

whats the number for the gates timing belt on the 4G18....i changed it las yr and put an OEM timing belt but it still makes a kinda humming noise kinda similar to feedback on speakers from ur alternator when yuh have music but not so high pitched ...afterwards when i changed the tensioner (i know i was supposed to change it when i changed the belt but didnt) the mechanic backed off a lil tension and the noise got a lil quieter....he didnt want to go any slacker and he say is d belt makin that noise....any body ever heard bout that problem? mind you its an OEM belt from DM eh....

^ ^ ^ whatever u say pal

didn't get any hum when I did the 100k service on Blondie - used all OEM parts from DM (all belts, tensioners and seals), but I not anal, thaz strictly SHO

Prob you got a bad belt

I had NGK Irridiums in my CK for 3 years, ~ 60,000km and they were still good

Running V-Power in Blondie and regular in Silver (she getting irridiums next tune up)

has anyone here tried using the KYB GR-2 Shocks on their CS's (front and rear)
i want to change out these dotish bumpy riding KYB Excel G's that i have one...
what do you all recommend...OEM or the KYB GR-2 as they claim it gives a smooth ride like OEM with a more solid and sturdy feel to it...also thinking of puttin on some lowering springs to give d car a lil 1.5 inch drop or so....

^^ I have on Excel G in de front and I find the ride absorbing the bumps perfect...maybe your springs are too soft?....I have on same Excel G and the ride is comfy on bad roads...but my stock springs are too soft hend I suffer from alot of body roll Neutral

now when you find new shocks not givibg the performance you thought you would get is may be the shock was damaged durng install, alot of mechanics use pneumatic guns to run down the top nut with out securing the pistion so the pisto spins and damages the vlve and seal

as for the lowering spring on oem or excel g shock prepare to change shocks every year...
