all of a sudden when stopped at a traffic light and put in N, it idled all teh way up to 3000rpm

put in D, it was normal

on Tuesday it was intermittent

ranging from 1100-2000

started happening after i carried it to the mech to clean the tb

...when i checked it out the fool put in the filter backwards
so i say maybe/maybe not

i too was wondering about the icm
any ideas?

My neighbor tried it already and said that it only stays clear for like 2 weeks or so.

^^^ THAT IS WHY I USE THE PLASTIC POLISH

to keep from getting back dirty

car not available to scan until next week . . .

the idle problem not happening too regular, so i think it will be safe to use until then

venum....brake fluid man? I don't know if i will risk it on plastic headlights i'm afraid it might eat them up. I tried everything short of sandpaper on the CS3, what eventually worked for me was a hearty rubdown with autosol metal polish, followed by mothers plastic polish. and rub out with some carnauba cleaner wax to protect them. did it on the M3 as well and it worked great.

Update

got teh car sorted out

teh TB and idle control motor were serviced

but motor on teh way out, mech bought me some time as it was now starting to act up
