both amplifiers are 1000watt maxx amplifiers, also they are both 4 channel.
Boss Ch650 and crunch 175.4.

As u can see the capacitors and power supply on the cruch bigger.
not mcuh ppl kno about crunch, they always ask if it better,

well done..

dont kno y ppl think that crunch is lame..its just the low end brand for maxxsonics, thats all

crunch has never let me down in performance for my money's worth

^^^^a bigger part doesnot necessarily means it's better, they could be of the same rating.

the best test for them would be to measure their output on identical charging systems & speakers... you can't really base their performance on how it looks inside..

^^^yup also the mosfets inthe boss looking like they have a better positioning for cooling.




btw I rather the crunch, i just trying to look at both sides of the coin Very Happy .

my personal experience with boss.. is that it works great for the money (that was when i bought mine, now is a different story).. never experienced any problems with the amp i had either..

downside is that they are overated.. i never did any testing to see exactly how true to their ratings they are, but my pops 200Wrms Premier amp used to give my 600Wrms Boss a good run for the money...

well is hifonics...wat u expect..u cant compare crunch wit boss..plenty pple now bout crunch..but it still more expensive...so if u really restricted boss wud be in ur budget..but crunch is still a better amp

well when u look at it the price difference isnt that much.
unless boss really get cheap cheap.
wats the pirce ona boss amp now, any boss amp jus say power rating.

^^ karti sells the 1800.4 for 1230....

always wondered about this since WTH u really supposed to be admiring in a amp - how much 'stuff' there is inside ??? ... Confused

alot of people base it on whats inside.
and alot of ppl like to see whats inside, so i posted it for that purpose an also to show the build is better,
but u all make sense.

thats the purpose of the ice forum to learn more about these things.
