So my car didnt come with from stabilizer bar, so the only option is to tie the cradles with a steel rod, have to do some welding
been seeing these alot on my car 323, laser, b12, sunny, march, mostly cars that was available through the local markets.
what are the benefits of having this and disadvantages of this also |

ok the older system like in the b12 for instance was flawed .
where the cradle were mounted was part of the vehicles chassis
(no sub frame) so when brakes were applied and the wheels lock up
it actualy jerks at the chassis puling them apart .
over time this get worst as more brakes are applied, the vehicle getting older
wear and tear on the chassis and trinidad road
this causes the wheels to spread out then the axles falls out or the wheels
jumps back breaking off everything and busting up your oil pan at it
when you tie your cradle what you are actually doing is having them pull against each other . this way they no longer jerks the chassis apart and you are good to go
providing that you have already pulled the chassis back to spec.
some people use a screw type device that you usually see on a t&tec pole
but they are fooling themselves
you must use the chain block or some chassis pulling tool and bring it back to spec
before tying |
