Anyone know if there's a more robust alternative to this little plastic steering rack bushing in the Cortina?
Its on the left wheel side and when it wears out or breaks up (which it does all the time) it causes play in the left wheel. |

i think those bushings are teflon. probably not the best though!
also i think u are putting them in wrong u have to line up the pins on the bushing with the slits on the side of the rack. the have to fit inside there so they don't move. also ckeck the bushing in the knuckle joints! |
