members please be advised that the tentative date for competitors training will be held on april 7, 2008 at the chinese wok upstairs mid centre mall at 6.00pm to 9.00pm.........

discussions will entail:

new 2008 rules and format.......
changes after sbn 2008
iasca caribbean and its affiliation
iasca and local promoters.........scores and points


training will be conducted by one of our foreign judges moe saborine from iasca's head office in daytona.........

refreshments will be provided.........

its a training session on the rules and competitions for iasca
provides lots of insight into how to make the rules work for you in each category
plus its an open forum to discuss and clear up any misconceptions reagrding the rules and the categories
well worht attending for both present competitors and anyone who is interested in building there cars be it to compete or not

pre registration would be aprreciated as refreshements will have to be catered however due to the venue i suspect it wont be a problem to just walk in and "pay at the door" so to speak

date will change

details were worked on with iasca monday morning

things should be finalised by this weekend and date and ocation will be posted

training will cover rules etc and installation/enclosure building techniques for spl

It has to be close, as the facilitator would have to be flown in. My guess is, that Moe will also be judging at the IASCA event as well.

iasca 11 may be postponed to accomodate the training instead
we are trying to juggle around the schedules of the IASCA worldwide executives with our own schedule

Moe has to do a lot of traveling before the 11th as well as after

same goes for the competitor training for iasca and spl box building

software may also be on sale at this training session for enclosure designing

rule books cds and the new dB3 cd will aslo be avialable

we should have things confirmed by this thursday
