it would seem that Renault made the internal suspension of these headlights out of egg shells.

I have several of them and the "guts" just swinging willy nilly.

have any of you encountered this problem ?

besides replacing it, have anyone "fixed' it ?

please let me know

I believe the 172 models came with xenon front lights and would have automatic motorised height adjustment.

I could be mistaken as I am not sure what Xenon's are, but this car seems to have HID's to me.
It has a seperate ballast and all that stuff.

but yes, it is motorized and all the internal mechanisms of the headlight is broken except one or two

they come with xenon lights..
maybe the motorized strap in the mechanism to adjust the headlight have become brittle and the end result, broke apart.

it more of a little plastic support versus a strap, but they are all broken and I have to find a fix or they will surely break out on the stages
