| Chevy Optra for me, is a very good choice if you looking for easy maintenance, a bit of power; u can keep up with the civic but u can't pass it. Excellent suspension, service kinda alright, comfy and believe it or not performance parts are available from the dealers. |

the Optra is good but a bit on the dated side if comparing to all the compact cars on the market now. The 1.6 engine does have some grunt but the vehicle is a bit on the heavy side. The suspension is more sure footed than an Almera's. The standard features and little extra's the dealer throws in for you makes it a must look for the budget minded shopper. The price still is dangerously close to the Nissan Almera SG 1.6 ($116k) and you get full power with airbags and abs etc. With the Optra at least you won't have to worry about people stealing your side indicators, side mirrors, park/head lamps and fog lights or the whole car for that matter.
The new Kia Cerrato and Hyundai Elantra though is superior. |
