I have a set of 5*114 wheels. I'm hoping that I could use them but the car is 4*114

Is it safe to have the rims drilled over to work 4*114?

Any machine shop recommended?

Thanks

NO
never drill rims
think about it you will have at least 2 new/widened holes
that is totally unsafe

look into a wheel-spacer/adapter set or hub/lug conversion if you so want to use the rims. The rims would not be balanced/could crack if you attempt to drill

Oh Neutral

I have another set that is both 4 & 5 hole ... so I was wondering if I could have drilled this set similarly...

x2 although I prefer the stud conversion over adapters.

if it is cast like that its a big difference to drilling one that was not
while casting they would have added metal to where it needs to be to ensure the wheel stays strong

if it was meant for that application, it would have come with the spacing you want. It it engineered for manufacturers specifications. sell these rims and but ones with the spacing u want, unless u wana die
