so whats the best forester to get for under around $140K......can be roro or already registered......
looking for good performance and decent handling......dont want an impreza, or a legacy, looking for some ground clearance and something that a bit more practical than the car (need more space).......so whats the best one to get???? i know there are STi's and cross sports and XT's and whatever else.....just need to get the run down of each.....and the best year to get as well......thanks |

for 140 u could get a 2002-3 fozzy cross sport 2L turbo from RORO company or a local used. i would suggest calling a subaru rep from N&M. customers tend to sell them
i personally like the cross sports cuz its tiptronic
only the newer xts from N&M has tiptronics. the older ones are straight auto
if u want to get a more recent one for 140K bring ur own RORO yourself. its risky cuz u dont get the 3mth warranty taht RORO have to give.
its your choice.
there are a couple members selling on our website. scoobytnt

the old "STi" foresters are not wat u are thinkin eh
they jus have a different body kit and slightly diff interior
engine is the same EJ20 as WRX and other foresters
the real STi forester is nowhere near ur price range of 140k and has EJ25 STi engine
comes in 2002 model up
u could get a cross sport from crism for close to that price |

S Turbo is the older engine
XT and cross sports have the same engine
but the cross sports has different body kit and interior
also has high-speed transmission same as the legacies with tiptronic and sterring shifters (stronger tranny)
cross sports has Sti suspension (lower than the xt by abt 2inches)
u could geh manual in either if u want |

hmmmm
well decided to hold off on it, until i'm in a better position to get a vehicle.........but it would be either a cross sport or sti..........the budget should considerably increase when i'm actually looking for it......and it would HAVE to be manual

easier to insure a forester than sti
insurance is a huge factor to what u can buy unless u have a hook up |
