yeh i jus wanted t knw,,,does any1 knw the actual duration difference between the manual and auto cams on the b16a engine?? how much is the estimated difference in power,, say u put a gearbox on a b16 with auto cams??

I doubt anyone has actually measured it locally (on a dyno), but alot of people accept the differential as a 10hp advantage for the manual cams. There is a ramp and duration difference that can be seen with the nekkid eye.

i have used auto cams with a manual tranny and worked quite well on midband perfomrnace

You need a manual ECU to get the max out of those cams though...

ah still looking for ctr cams ...if not guess i'll jess settle for the manual b16 cams ...never thought the difference was that much
