what firewall sayin soundin like a good idea, i think i go explore this further. the thing is i en wanna spend all that much money on bigger subs because it en make sense doing that unless yuh goin to spend money on bigger amps, right now all i have to play with is 1500rms and that go be decent enough for those 3 12s thats why i wanted to go that route. But i guess i could always try the 2 options and in the end the most that go happen is that i end up with a spare sub.

Although the spare sub issue is what have meh doing this upgrade anyway.

my bad, (noyztoyz was right putting the 12" in a 1.5 cubic ported is pointless)

for some reason i thought that you were going with 3 10" so i used the specs for the 7510. the min airspace required for 1 7512 is 2 cubic. so you looking at something like 7.5 cubic total (before port and speaker displacement.)

if you want pass through and we could make some measurements Mr. Green

only way i see this working though is doing a common chamber and reinforcing the inside with glass, cause mdf bracing will take up valuable airspace.

Just buy a damn 15
Will cost you less than 3 12s

The Audiopipe 15" is about $1,200 for the MOST
3 12" pioneers can run you $1,500

I hope those amps have low level in and out...

And three 500RMS amps will use more current & wires than 1 1500RMS amp

i sold it boi, maybe the worst thing i ever did, it was the most powerful amp i ever had, and my bass was alot louder and deeper when i had it. If i had that amp or some like it now upgrading woulda never even cross my mind.

But as i said when i sold it, it didn't make sense keeping it to run on 6ohms.

you pipe out that amp Shocked you want some hard firetruck slap Exclamation

where the hell you was gonna find an amp to run 6 ohms in the first place (unless you strap to alpines pdx)

now you buying other amps & have the opportunity to compare them to the JBL you seeing where you went wrong & hear the sad part, you piped it out, you not gonna get one like that for the price you sold it.

I have a wall outside, I can rent you it to bang your head against, $500.00 per hour.
