some things people doesnt know about rotary engines Twisted Evil

A Rotary does this really marvelous thing...It will run when ancilaries are set wrong.

The fuel filter is blocked and it starts leaning out...

The advance is so far advanced you think the timing light is wrong....

ECT

Basically a rotary will still be running with faults that a Piston motor probably wouldnt even be able to start! Hence it goes bang . Crossed over leads, Trailing and leading plugs switched, Blocked fuel filters , Oil so hot its water,

Radiators filled with the scale a rotary tends to fill them with. Oil lines with small drips...

Pinging....sheesh its gotta rattle its head off even with carbon apex seals to shatter one!
But it will be capable of 9000rpm plus and have a service life (Usually) better than a similar piston motor at those Revs.

gready123456 that first vid reminds me of the RE we had some time aback...*sigh*...there's really nothing like the sound of a bridgeport...
Oh and that first vid by legendkiller@1891 is by far the most informative on the internal workings of a wankel...
