My car has the original paint on it except for a few touch ups from minor dents and scrapes that ocurred with the previous owner.

I've notice in areas where the original paint is some fine black specs that looks like fumes, don't know what caused them or what they are.

I've tried pitch oil (the car is white) and it removed some also tried mothers wax cleaner and some other 3M cleaner and hand glaze with hand and machine and there is still a slight amount of the fume like specs on the car.

Can anyone advise me on what I can do to get rid of them without repainting the entire car which I am very close to at the moment.

Again the car is white.
