Are you gonna get the internals Calico coated? I've head it works really well.
Good luck with the build you should give a follow up on the build. |

hmmmm............. this guy swear to me that he will never upgrade to a 5E
looking at the space between turbo an radiator in the joylet engine room i guessing you going with half sized civic style radiator.
a extractor type manifold out of the question....
but when it all done will you have any traction |

couple questions for the more experienced guys here:
seeing that it's gonna be a fully built motor, is it absolutely necessary to change oil/water pump? my current ones seem to be pretty good...
If yes, what's the technical reason for doing so.....instead of 'bai just put new ting an done nahhh'
Thx for any and all info, knowledgable ones. |

Cause you fully built you feel you can skimp on other components
5e flywheel (200mm)……or redrilled 4efte flywheel (212mm), OR try to get the 5e bolt pattern flywheel that holds the 212mm clutch set up (usually found on some 3E engines)
- 5e clutch and 5e pressure plate OR 4efte clutch and 4efte pressure plate….NOT to be mixed and matched
- what size injectors u plans to be using 330cc,460cc or 550cc??? |

From my experiences, when i put down a used water pump to long, long being a lil over a month, after reinstalling it, it work for a while then pick up a leak, so I does change it to save de headache |

Should at least inspect the water pump and have a look at the impellers, as they sometimes corrode when the engine's out.
As for the oil pump definitely something you can't skimp on, lack of oil is a gonna sheit up bearings and rings in no time. |

Is that 2 BOV's I'm seeing there?
One on the hot side and one one the cold side?
Any particular reason why?
I know some high boost applications run 2 BOVs often right next to each other and closer to the throttle body. |
