| I full up at half tank which costs appx $120 Premium (it's a 66 liter tank). Gas consumption on the SGV 4x4 is severly affected by driving style (lead foot) and operating conditions. |

I get about 420kms to a tank of maybe around $160 or thereabouts
I do highway running everyday.. and on evenings when it's cool, I don't use the AC |

There you go. The price of full-time all-wheel drive and lead foot.
My A/C is on all de time. I don't recall ever seeing 420kms to a tank. Hmm

Nope. It's rumoured to be coming with a 2.4L engine, replacing the 2.0L. The A/C controls for fan and temp (centre) is now digital, and the other A/C switches are different.
Suzuki added wheel pressure sensors to the US & Canadian models.
Also Lifestyle has the UK spec running board for <$5800 installed. Like these:
The black one is overkill $$$, but your choice. |

~*SiLvA MeRa*~ - The Scent you get is mildew forming on the filter for the A/C. Let me guess, you use only recycled air! Easy fix. Take off the Glove Compartment. You will see the AC Filter Cover. Pull it out and there is the filter inside. Spray it with some light detergent spray, yuh know dem thing that yuh get in the super market, run the A/C in recycled for a little while to get the excess off (Leave the Windows Down while you do). Mount back up and your problem should be solved (10 Minuite Job). You can also use some of that in the external Air intake bottom of the Wind Shield if necessary. I had tried once spraying some air freshner on the filter itself. Works for a day or so then gone. Too much hassel to do it again. However to get the mildew scent out, I recommend the detergent spray.
Mileage - My mileage varies to how I drive. I got some 440's some 225's etc. Mini is right. It is how you drive. You also get more mileage running highway than short trips (According to my expreience)
Side Steps and Front Bar - Yes they do Lower your vehicle. I have had my side steps and Front Bar installesd and I now regret because of that. I am looking at putting a larger wall tire when the stock ones goes. Should get me back up an Inch or so then I'll think about what to do from there.
Flaquito -
Nice to know your soon to become a GV owner. There is a warranty issue with using larger size rims on the GV. Lifestyle only allows you one size increase and thats all. If you put larger Rims you are at the mercy of the Service Department. Contact Wayne at Lifestyle Motors - he is the service manager and let him guide you on what you can and cannot to to your new zuki. I was glad I consulted them before spending money on some 22" Blacks.
PS - Anyone changed the Audio System on their GV. Interested to see what you all have done.
GV Accessories other than Life Style - Car Boutique in St. James - They have the Chrome accessories;
4x4 Accessories (Auto Air) - Cipero Street San Fernando - Side Steps and Front Bars; Glenns Car Accessories Montrose - Back Up Camera
Hope this helps
Regards

I thought they came with an electronic switch to control the transfer case
Then it would be part time 4WD, not so? |
