Well to be honest I never bought one new - but I just got one & the stock box from a tuner for $250 so ask on here and see if anyone is selling one they're not using anymore. If not W2J has them periodically - I think it's about $450 for one.
But yeah the drop-in CAI is really quite a fun project. I've been doing a little something something with mine this week, should be finished by this weekend, I'll post some pics then.

| ^^It's according to mileage, not time. On my 4g13 it's every 6,000 miles or 10,000 km. |

yes it can
you have to modify the stock distributor and you need a 6al.
no gains in stock form other than increased reliability. |

What modifications to the distributor cap we talking about here? It would be really nice to modify the ignition system from an internal coil to an external coil. Was really thinking about this mod for a while to improve the reliability of the stock system.
Cutting the cap in the center to take the coil's output wire, to feed the distributor? How easy is it to connect this external coil to the Primary side wiring? |

The front engine mount was recently changed (mechanic say that the others good)and also the crossmember rubbers. Still getting some vibration.
Oh,car was tuned-up the same time the mount was changed.

daz not the mounts
daz the "tripod in the axle cup
finished changin mine today
new ABS spindles
new rotors
new calipers
FU brake pads (OEM)
new axles
align and camber
it turns out too much roughing up the car and "rippin" damaged the axles and had them vibrating |

JUS4SHO,Do you sell those MSD SCI??.
Also, when i was reading the link i realise that it has "Blaster Coil" in brackets for the max secondary voltage....Is that another component that would be required if you get this ignition box?? |
