FA1 is the chassis code for the 2006/07 civic sold through Classic motors and above is the link refering to fuel quality which can be used with the same R16, R18 motors.

B16a is around 10.2/10.4 : 1 with my R18a at 10.5 : 1 compression ratio so i suppose if de answer is yes then i could chance it, I still waiting to hear de results of persons who tried it already with similar motors.

But you don't run an R18 between 6-8000 rpm consistently like you would a B16A/B....
