yes folks,

2008 iasca season will be officially open on may 11th at the first iasca world record event...........

the venue for this event will be kay donna drive in ......

At this event iasca will be awarding certificates to the to ten winners of each class of the 2007 season at the opening of the event.........

IASCA CARIBBEAN had decided as per its last meeting to now offer cash prizes of 50% of all competition fees to the highest winner per category as follows:

rokie
stock
stock pro
advance no wall
advance
ultimate

let it be understood that the overall winner in each ABOVE STATED category will be the receipent of the cash prize...........eg. if the guy in stock 1 gets the highest score in the stock category he will then receive the cash prize.......which represents 50% of the total competitors fee.

100% iasca 13 serves to bring the new competition format in accordance to newly altered rules for 2008..........

highlights for this event will be the official launch of the extreme SPL machine doing over 170db..........

official launch of the loudest bassboxing vehicle in the world.......this vehicle was built in indiana by our very own cris norris and spl audio and it will be competing this year at SBN in daytona against tommy (hoe problems).........

after spring break nationals this vehicle will be brought in for demonstration here in trinidad for us to witness what an extreme bassboxing vehicle really is..........

this vehicle is running 32 cactus sound 12", 16 kole audio 5500watts amplifiers, 20 powermaster batteries and 2 350 amp alternators.......

on the mids line SPL AUDIO will be building 8 10" and 4 driver units on the hood............we will be giving the world a taste of the trinidad flavor at sbn this year............

locally so far there are 15 new shops registered with new competitors......

as for the concern the new rules format iasca international has informed that there will be no changes of the rules and the new competition classes are final.......

members are advised that these rules are set to encourage and stimulate stiffer competitions across the board...........

there will be foreign judges for this event since its a world record event and also these same judges will be here for the competitors training on april 7, 2008.......

ROOKIE DIVISION

Rookie 1 Class - 1 to 160 sq. in.

Rookie 2 Class - 161 to 260 sq. in.

Rookie 3 Class - 261+ sq. in.

STOCK DIVISION

Stock 1 Class - 1 to 260 sq. in.

Stock 2 Class - 261+ sq. in.

STOCK PRO DIVISION

Stock Pro 1 Class - 1 to 260 sq. in.

Stock Pro 2 Class - 261+ sq. in.

ADVANCED NO WALL DIVISION

Advanced No Wall 1 - 1 to 260 sq. in.

Advanced No Wall 2 - 261+ sq. in.

ADVANCED DIVISION

Advanced 1 Class - 1 to 520 sq. in

Advanced 2 Class - 521+ sq. in.

ULTIMATE DIVISION

Ultimate 1 Class - 1 to 520 sq. in.

Ultimate 2 Class - 521+ sq. in.

Which reminds me, I Still need to have a name plate done. I'll get the info to you to order the plate for the challenge trophy, we can have it ready for this event, and award it (even though its late) to the current rookie of the year, Jason Tang.

and will this only be for iasca members only?or for non members also
for the WRE only or the past year (2007)

Certificates will be presented just before the start of Idbl competiton for this event

as far as i know it will be for iasca members who competed for the 2007 season

shameer doh dig no harras we supportin u to ..........but win, loose or draw we puttin we local installers first.
